Despite having a digital induction and not even setting foot at their newly set up desks, due to social distancing measures, two new staff members have joined the team and thrown themselves into virtual Pinstone life.
Becky George
Following a 20-year career in fully integrated specialist PR agency environments, including a six-year stint exclusively focusing on the food and drink sector, Becky brings her experience to oversee several Pinstone client accounts and help deliver strategically driven results with tangible benefits.
“As an English Literature graduate, I’ve always been fascinated by developing compelling brand narratives for businesses. Copywriting is one of my core strengths and I love to get under the skin of a company to identify and convey what makes them unique,” says Becky.
Outside of work Becky enjoys rambling through the local Shropshire countryside, gardening and getting creative in the kitchen – we’re looking forward to sampling some of her creations when we get back to the office!
Jen Liggins
Like Becky, Jen joins the team to oversee a selection of clients and support the team with out-of-the-box thinking to deliver campaigns with ingenuity and imagination.
Jen has a solid background in PR and communications but has most recently worked on the ‘other side’ as a magazine editor and freelance editorial consultant, so has a unique understanding of the communications landscape.
“With experience in both B2C and B2B situations across an array of industries, my greatest achievement to date has been securing national television coverage for a series of clients, as well as increasing following and engagement across digital platforms, creating momentum and rallying support for clients’ causes,” says Jen.
Away from the office, Jen is a keen sportswoman, playing lacrosse and trail running with her two black Labradors, but she also enjoys exploring the countryside and participating in country pursuits.
Later this month we wish Kate Yarwood well as she heads off on maternity leave. We’re also looking forward to welcoming back our finance manager, Amy Johnson, but say goodbye and good luck to her maternity cover, Lily Walford.
