Growing up on a beef, sheep, dairy and arable farm in Shropshire, I have always had strong ties to British agriculture and the food chain. I enjoy sharing an insight into daily farm life on social media, and recently became the third generation in my family to write a regular farming column in the local newspaper.
My passion for marketing and communications was realised at Nottingham University, where I achieved a first in Management studies. Kickstarting my marketing career in a local marketing agency was followed by an in-house role within the baking industry and a period contracting for the NHS as Communications and Engagement Officer, working on internal communications strategy. I have also had the opportunity to work for a year on various farms in Australia, providing insight into some completely different farming systems.
At Pinstone, I enjoy using my first-hand farming knowledge and digital expertise to deliver authentic media content for clients. It’s so rewarding to be part of such an ambitious, supportive and knowledgeable team.
